Wendell "Scott" Williams, 51, died in Palm Springs after having lived with HIV for 23 years. He was born in Houston, Texas, the eldest of two brothers. Scott had an extraordinary natural talent in the culinary arts. He loved travel, and enjoyed a wide variety of music and art. In 1998 Scott met his partner of 12 years and they built a life together with their two beloved dogs Mehmet and Sonny. Scott is survived by his partner Ron, his parents Gene and Mary-Sue, his brother Greg, and, of course all of his Canadian family who loved and respected him.

Obituaries can be mailed to Bay Area Reporter, 395 9th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Write the deceased's name on the back of the photo. If you include a SASE for the photo's return, write the person's name on the inside of the envelope flap. All obituaries must include a contact name and phone number. They must be submitted within a year of the death.
